This is a $500 scholarship given to any and every student who completes the Area 51 Scholarship requirements. MABC will send this $500 to any college of your choice. This is a scholarship that you don't want to miss out on!!!

JACINDA SCHROYER, GRADUATING CLASS OF 2006, was the only student to apply for the scholarship that year. She was awarded the maximum amount that can be given ($500) and used it towards the cost of her tuition at Colorado State University. Since then, the Student Ministry of MABC, has awarded additional scholarships; Austin Taylor, Jamie Huston, Kaitlyn Schroyer, Jamie Ward, Sara Elmore, and Stephanie Iiams

The first Youth Council meeting of the Fall season for both middle school and high school are comming up soon in Area 51. If you are at all interested in participating in Youth Council you should make sure you get your application in.

As you can see, from the picture below, we had a large group for B.U.R.T. 09; 24 total participants and 5 sponsors.  The weather was great and the 2450 miles of driving went by quickly. 

The Baptist University Road Trip was created to help high school students, from across Colorado, tour Baptist Universities and hopefully help them make a decision about college.  GREAT NEWS!  B.U.R.T is working!  Since the first B.U.R.T. in 2005, 7 students (that attended B.U.R.T.) have choose to attend one of the Christian Universities that we visited.  

If you haven't been on  B.U.R.T. before and you are in the 10-12 grade, you need to plan to attend B.U.R.T.2010.  The dates are January 15-19th, 2010.
